That's a real, working lighthouse in the background. Ok, this isn't in my neighborhood, but I really, really wish it was! Does the same state count?

I guess some people you just have to tell twice! This sign may not be the closest to my house - but it was the first one I saw yesterday on our trip to the dog park.

Time taken...8:30am - Yes, the sun still does not rise until about 9:30am, but we are getting more and more sunlight all the time...WHOO, HOO!!!

Place taken: Two blocks from our house...just around the curve and up a hill

Snow amount... 2 & 1/2 feet to 3 feet

This was on my way to work yesterday. I'm glad I got it then, because my boss asked me for the camera for the weekend. I figured I would give it to her since she let me buy it with Department funds. Hmmm, how am I going to tell her I need it next week for another picture for Stacie's Blog???

NW Stop Sign

Here is the stop sign at the end of my street - and after taking the picture I realized it's crooked! Funny how you don't notice stuff until you actually STOP (haha-pun intended) to pay attention.

Urban Stop Sign

I had to walk about a 1/4 mile to find this stop sign--and it's still across the very busy street our complex is on--and I could only take a picture of the BACK of it. But a stop sign is a stop sign right?

That was wicked easy! I just walked out my front door, sashayed across my front yard, and snapped the photo. With a good zoom, I probably could have skipped the walk outside :).
