Pretty Ugly

This is a common sight and one that fills me with mixed feelings. Is it pretty or ugly? I can't decide.

It's kind of like an old wrinkly man. You know he used to be a cute chubby baby years ago, or maybe he was a smokin hot hunkarooni in his 20s, but now, not so much.

So your buildings to me were probably nice looking at one time. Beautiful in their heyday but not completely ugly today.

I thinkold barns can be charming. I like to sit and wonder what they looked like way back when and how they were used. Sometimes the old barns have gone past the charming stage to just plain u-g-l-y. :)

I love old barns and old homes. I know that most people just see the decay, but like Bessie I like to think about what happened within their walls when they were new and love. I also find them like country decay, the friend of urban decay ;)

Some people might call that 'rustic charm'

I love them too, and there are plenty of them in my semi-rural area, peeking out from under overgrown trees and bushes, their use long gone and their charm still apparent.

Feels totally comfortable to me. Would love to play hide-and seek inside with my granddaughter or tell her stories of the "olden days" while sitting on some old planks!
