When googling Slinky, I discovered it's Slinky's 60th anniversary! I like the old school metal ones so much better than the plastic ones. As a kid I could never get mine to march down the stairs like they did in the commercial. Maybe two or three steps on a good day. And, how many of you ended up with a hopelessly tangled mess when Slinky ended up on the bottom of the toy box?

I loved the way they'd make your hands smell all metallicy wierd or the way if you wore it as a bracelet it would pinch your arm hairs. But maybe I was a very hairy child...
I loved slinky...I would play with it for hours just to listen to the sound it made, I could never get it to do much down the stairs either, but none the less fun fun fun
Now this brings back the memories! Good shot!
