That's a real, working lighthouse in the background. Ok, this isn't in my neighborhood, but I really, really wish it was! Does the same state count?

That's awesome! I love lighthouses.
I wish I had had a chance to look around and find one near something unique in our neighborhood.....but it's all about the same!

No, it totally counts. I was thinking of driving over and taking a pic of the stop sign down the road from where I grew up. I could see the lighthouse from that house as well.

Works for me. I only wish the assignment had been to find the lighthouse nearest your home! I need an excuse to travel!
