Florida Stop Sign

This is the stop sign on the way out from my apartment complex. The woods across the street behind the fence is part of a wilderness preserve. It's basically a bit of the Everglades back there. As a matter of fact on the way to work this morning, I saw a baby gator on the side of the road. It's sad what we do to their habitat.

Wow, how close they are!

That is close! I'd love to see one - but hate what we do to their habitat.

I drove all the way across FL from Naples to Miami, and didn't see a one! The Everglades were a trip, amazing meeting place of continent and ocean...

Well I'd rather see a baby gator than a full grown one!!

A baby gator? What happens when they appear by the road like that?

I agree, about animal habitat. At least that is a preserve...around here, all sorts of woods and fields are being demolished to make room for upscale housing developments.
